Laura Gianni
Born in Chicago and raised in Northern California, Laura Gianni received her Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. While attending law school at Golden Gate University, Ms. Gianni clerked at a prominent San Francisco plaintiff's litigation firm and volunteered at a family law legal aid clinic. Since receiving her law degree Ms. Gianni has specialized in complex pharmaceutical products liability and multi-district mass tort litigation in both State and Federal Court including Felbatol Product Liability Litigation [MDL 1048], Diet Drug Litigation [MDL 1203, JCCP 4032], Rezulin Products Liability Litigation [MDL 1348, JCCP 4122], Baycol Product Liability Litigation [MDL 1431, JCCP 4217, 4223(Discovery Liaison)], PPA Products Liability Litigation [MDL 1407, JCCP 4166 (Discovery Committee)], and the Ortho Evra Litigation [MDL 1742, JCCP 4506 ( Plaintiff's Executive Committee and Assistant Liason Counsel)]. For more than a decade, she has been at the vanguard of national pharmaceutical litigation and personally involved in the review of clinical trials, company documents, and depositions of company scientists and experts. Ms. Gianni has been a frequent speaker on a variety of pharmaceutical and medical mass tort subjects.

In October 2009, Ms. Gianni was appointed to the Plaintiff's Steering Committee in the Denture Cream Litigation, MDL No. 2051, consolidated before the Honorable Cecilia Altonaga, Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is involved in a detailed review of the defendant's company documents concerning the formulation, manufacture and marketing of the denture cream product, available through an electronic database.

Marcus Petoyan
A native of Los Angeles, Marcus Petoyan was employed in acute-care hospitals during his undergraduate studies, learning first hand about the quality of health care offered to medical consumers. While attending law school at Southwestern University, Mr. Petoyan clerked at a civil litigation firm and volunteered at the university's Neighborhood Law Clinic, serving disadvantaged clients.

After receiving his law degree, Mr. Petoyan was a trial attorney in a civil litigation defense firm representing doctors and insurance companies, before changing his focus to represent victims of injury. Throughout his 25 year legal career, Mr. Petoyan has specialized in civil trial law, obtaining multiple six and seven figure verdicts on behalf of clients involving medical malpractice, dangerous conditions of public and private property, products liability and sexual harassment lawsuits. He has participated in discovery and depositions of complex pharmaceutical products liability and multi-district mass tort litigation in both State and Federal Court including Diet Drug Litigation [MDL 1203, JCCP 4032], Rezulin Products Liability Litigation [MDL 1348, JCCP 4122] and the Ortho Evra Litigation [MDL 1742, JCCP 4506]. Mr. Petoyan is rated ' AV Preeminent', the highest peer review rating available, following a detailed and thorough review by Martindale-Hubbell, one of the oldest and most respected attorney peer review organizations.
